Naniwa-ku, Osaka

Naniwa (浪速区; -ku) is a ward of the city of Osaka in Osaka Prefecture, Japan. It has an area of 4.37 sq. km., and a population of 51,567.
Although it is conveniently near the downtown Namba shopping area of Osaka, and indded some of the Namba area is actually in Naniwa ku, residential rental costs in Naniwa ku are comparatively low.
