Narendrapur is a small township south of Kolkata, India. Now it is a part of greater Kolkata. It is the home of a famous school and college founded by Ramakrishna Mission. Narendrapur is situated right beside Aadi Ganga (Old Ganges).

The Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission school is run by monks who believe in Ramakrishna - Vivekananda movement. It has both English and Bengali as it's medium of teaching. Blind Boys' Academy is also an integral part of this institute. It is a residential school and the entry process is quite tough. The Board results are always the amongst the very best in the state. Sprawled across a large, beautiful campus near Garia, Kolkata, RKM Narendrapur always puts its best efforts to work for the underprivileged section of the society. it also teaches its students to be better human beings besides being successful in their chosen domains. The alumni provides support to the institute for their causes in various capacities.
