Nathalie Press (born c 1980) is an English actress probably best known for her award-winning performance in My Summer of Love (2004). She is sometimes erroneously credited as Natalie Press.
Her first lead role was in the short Wasp, which went onto to win the Oscar for best short film in 2005. For her work in My Summer of Love she was recognised by the London Film Critics Circle and the Evening Standard British Film Awards. She appeared as part of the ensemble cast in the acclaimed BBC serialisation of Dickens’ Bleak House (2005).
She will next be seen in Red Road (also by the director of Wasp) which won the Jury Prize at the 2006 Cannes film festival, and In Transit a World War II drama set in Russia.
Press is from north London and was a practising Jew until the age of 13. After graduating from university, she worked as an office temp until the sucess of My Summer of Love.
