National Cartoonists Society

The National Cartoonists Society is a United States organization of professional cartoonists created in 1946. Rube Goldberg was among the founders and served as the Society's first president. It awards a Cartoonist of the Year the Reuben Award, among other awards. The awards categories which have been discontinued are listed below.
