Ruta Nacional 3 ("National Route 3") is one of the most imporatnt highways in Argentina, streching from the eastern side of the country in Buenos Aires at its northern end, down to 11 km past Ushuaia at the south, breaking only in the pass from the continent to the Tierra del Fuego island under Chilean territory.

In total, the road is 3063km long, and its considered part of the Pan-American Highway, and connects the capital of the Country with the coastal part of the Argentine Patagonia.

The road is one of the icons of the Argentine tourism, and is the centre of several Argentine road movies.
