Naval Station Mayport

Naval Station Mayport is a major U. S. Navy base in northern Duval County, Florida. Since its commissioning in December 1942, NS Mayport has grown to become the third largest fleet concentration area in the United States. Mayport's operational composition is unique, with a busy harbor capable of accommodating 34 ships and an 8,000-foot runway capable of handling any aircraft in the Department of Defense inventory.

- Oliver Hazard Perry Class Guided Missile Frigates
- *USS McInerney (FFG-8)
- *USS Boone (FFG-28)
- *USS Underwood (FFG-36)

- *USS Halyburton (FFG-40)
- *USS Klakring (FFG-42)
- *USS DeWert (FFG-45)
- *USS Robert G. Bradley (FFG-49)

- Atlantic Fleet SH-60B Seahawk wing has several squadrons based here.
