Nedra Volz

Nedra Volz (18 June 1908 – 20 January 2003) was an American actress born in Montrose, Iowa.
She began her career in vaudeville as a toddler (called "Baby Nedra") and ended up in the 1970s as a well-recognized (if not well-known by name) supporting actress primarily on television and also in feature films. She often played grandmothers or feisty little old ladies. She had the recurring role of housekeeper Adelaide Brubaker on Diff'rent Strokes from January 1980 until May 1982. She also was on The Dukes of Hazzard starting in November 1982 as the post office lady, Miz (Emma) Tisdale. She rode around town on a motorcycle.
Nedra married Oren Volz in 1944 and was the mother of two children, Edward Volz and Linda Deffenderer.
She died aged 94 in Mesa, Arizona, suffering from Alzheimer's disease
