Encyclopedia : N : NE : NEP : Nepenthes pectinata
Nepenthes pectinata (Greek: pektos = coagulated; referring to pectin, the substance in cell walls that binds cells together) is a species of pitcher plant endemic to Sumatra. There is much confusion surrounding the status of this species as well as N. gymnamphora and N. xiphioides.
