New Era Television (commonly known as Net 25) is the UHF Television network of Eagle Broadcasting Corporation (EBC), the broadcast division of the Philippine religious group, Iglesia ni Cristo. It supplements EBC's national network of five AM stations and an FM station (DZEC Radyo Agila 1062 & DWDM 95.5 Manila with Radyo Agila Stations on: DZEL 1053 Lucena, DWIN 1080 Dagupan, DYFX 1305 Cebu, and DXED 1224 Davao) located at 887 Maligaya Bldg. II, EDSA, Diliman, Quezon City. Its slogan is Net 25: Feed Your Mind.

It is on Channel 25 on terrestrial TV and is carried by major cable operators in the country led by Skycable Gold & Silver and Destiny Cable. NET 25 reaches TV audiences on the East Coast, United States and Hawaii and the whole of Asia including Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China as well as Australia.

History

The station started its broadcast operations July 27, 1999, via Eagle Broadcasting Corporation and was officially launched in a multimedia exhibit dubbed "Destination: PLANET 25" on April 23, 2000.

In late April 2001, NET 25 was the only station airing live and detailed coverage of the Pro-Estrada Rally. That rally ended in a failed siege of the Malacañang Presidential Palace in May 1, 2001.

NET 25 boasts of the Philippines' first trilon TV tower that soars to 907 feet above sea level. NET 25 also has an all-digital production facility complete with studios and editing suites for in-house and post-productions.

Programming

With its initial partnership with TechTV, NET 25 has become a television station devoted to information technology. It carries programs like Fresh Gear, Extended Play, NET Café, Next Step, Computer Chronicle and Audio File. Its station-produced program Convergence is the consistent No. 1 IT show in the Philippines.

NET 25 also shows religious programs of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, such as Ang Tamang Daan and Ang Mga Nagsialis sa Samahang Ang Dating Daan which rebukes and debates claims made towards the Iglesia ni Cristo by UNTV-37 TV programs Ang Dating Daan and Itanong Mo Kay Soriano hosted by Eliseo Soriano of the religious group Ang Dating Daan.

NET-25 is shown on Cable Star - Iloilo through channel 47 and GEM TV through Cable Star - Iloilo channel 76. GEM TV is NET 25 sister network. The signal is transmitted from its facilities at NET 25 studios at the New Era University.
