Nevada Legislature

The Nevada Legislature is the legislative body of the U.S. state of Nevada and is seated in Carson City, the state capital. The Legislature is a bicameral body, consisting of the Nevada Assembly and the Nevada Senate.
The Nevada Constitution sets the maximum size of the Legislature at 75 members, and provides that the Senate may not be less than one-third nor more than one-half the size of the Assembly. The Legislature currently has 63 members: 42 in the Assembly and 21 in the Senate.
