Route 95 is a 14 km highway connecting the northern terminus of Interstate 95 at the Canada-United States border near Houlton, Maine to Route 2 (the Trans-Canada Highway) in Woodstock, New Brunswick, hence the number. Originally built as a two-lane road, Route 95 is in the process of being upgraded to a four-lane divided expressway.
