New Ulster

New Ulster is the name of a province in New Zealand that existed between 1848 and 1853.
Like the two other provinces of New Zealand at the time, New Ulster and New Munster. New Uster was headed by a Lieutenant Governor who reported to the Governor of New Zealand.
New Ulster included all of the North Island north of the Patea River.

- 26 Apr 1851 - 7 Mar 1853 Robert Henry Wynyard (b. 1802 - d. 1864)
