New World First Ferry

New World First Ferry Services Limited (Traditional Chinese: }) (in short New World First Ferry, First Ferry or NWFF) is a ferry company in Hong Kong. The company was established in November 1999, when it took over the 10 routes from the Hongkong and Yaumati Ferry. It is jointly owned by Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited and NWS Holdings Limited.
When the company commenced its service on the January 15, 2000, it took over 10 oridinary ferries and rented 7 hovercrafts and catamarans from its predecessor. Since then it introduced 10 fast vessels on Outlying Islands routes to phase out the rented vessels and to improve services.
It operates the following routes:
- Central to Cheung Chau, Mui Wo, and Peng Chau
- Circular between Tsim Sha Tsui, Mui Wo, Cheung Chau (weekends only)
- Circular between Peng Chau, Mui Wo, Chi Ma Wan, and Cheung Chau
- North Point to Hung Hom and Kowloon City
- Tuen Mun to Tung Chung
- North Point to Joss House Bay (大廟灣) (operates only on Tin Hau-birthday-festival)
- Tuen Mun, Tung Chung, Sha Lo Wan, and Tai O (Service taken over by Fortune Ferry with effect from September 1, 2005)
- Tuen Mun to Tai O (Weekends Only) (Service taken over by Fortune Ferry with effect from August 27, 2005)
