WWE New Year's Revolution is a pay-per-view event produced by World Wrestling Entertainment for the RAW brand. It is the first of two pay-per-views to be held during the month of January (the other being the annual Royal Rumble). Thus far, both events held have featured an Elimination Chamber match.
Results
2005
The 2005 event was the first WWE pay-per-view event to be held in Puerto Rico. Tickets for this event were sold out in less than a month after being available for sale, marking one of the fastest selling events in the short history of the Coliseum. The event's final buyrate was 370,000 buys, a very good number for a brand-exclusive pay-per-view. Shelton Benjamin currently has the best win/loss record with 3-0 (he defeated Maven twice in 2005)
- The Hurricane and Rosey defeated La Résistance (Sylvain Grenier & Rob Conway) (5:13) in a non-televised bonus match.
- William Regal and Eugene defeated Tyson Tomko and Christian to retain the World Tag Team Championship (12:22)
- *Eugene pinned Tomko with a school boy roll-up. Eugene was legitimately injured during this match with a ruptured left patella tendon which required surgery and sidelined him for several months.
- Trish Stratus defeated Lita to win the WWE Women's Championship (3:47)
- *Trish pinned Lita after a Chick Kick. Lita was legitimately injured during this match, suffering a similar injury as Eugene's. Lita was scheduled to retain the title however her injury resulted in a rushed and changed finish.
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Maven to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (6:03)
- *Benjamin pinned Maven with a roll-up.
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Maven to retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship (0:05)
- *Maven requested his rematch right after he lost the first match. Benjamin won again by pinning Maven after his T-Bone Powerslam.
- Shelton Benjamin made history by being the first man in WWE history to defend and retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship twice in the same night against the same opponent, Maven.
- Muhammad Hassan defeated Jerry "The King" Lawler (10:55)
- *Hassan pinned Lawler with a reverse STO.
- Kane defeated Gene Snitsky (11:34)
- *Kane hit Snitsky with a Tombstone Piledriver for the pin fall.
- A year later on the same date, 9th January, Kane would defeat Gene Snitsky again in a Royal Rumble qualifier match on RAW.
- Triple H defeated Edge, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, Batista and Randy Orton in an Elimination Chamber match to win the vacant World Heavyweight Championship (34:58)
- *Shawn Michaels was the special referee.

2006

- Chavo Guerrero, Jr. defeated Gene Snitsky (5:13) (on WWE HEAT)
- *Chavo Guerrero, Jr. pinned Gene Snitsky following a Frog Splash.
- WWE Intercontinental Championship: Ric Flair (c) defeated Edge by DQ to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship (7:10)
- *Edge used the "Money In The Bank" Briefcase on Flair.
- WWE Women's Championship: Trish Stratus (c) defeated Mickie James to retain WWE Women's Championship (7:24)
- *Trish pinned James after a Chick Kick after dodging James's Mick Kick attempt.
- Jerry "The King" Lawler defeated Gregory Helms (9:02)
- *Lawler pinned Helms after a Diving Fist Drop.
- Triple H defeated The Big Show (16:20)
- *Triple H pinned Big Show after a sledgehammer to the head, then a Pedigree
- Shelton Benjamin defeated Viscera (7:05)
- *Benjamin pinned Viscera after a Dragon Whip.
- Ashley defeated Maria, Torrie Wilson, Victoria, Candice Michelle in a Bra and Panties Gauntlet match (11:30)
- *Ashley countered Victoria's Widow's Peak and pulled pants off Victoria to win match.
- *Order of Elimination: Candice, Torrie, Maria, Victoria
- *Mae Young and The Fabulous Moolah interfered and removed Victoria's top.
- Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship: John Cena (c) def. Kurt Angle, Chris Masters, Carlito, Shawn Michaels and Kane to retain the WWE Championship (28:24)
- *Chris Masters entered the Elimination Chamber at NYR on his birthday, January 8.
- *The first time ever that the WWE Championship was on the line in the Elimination Chamber since the brand extension era began (the previous 3 Chamber matches saw the World Heavyweight Championship on the line).
- *Second year in a row that an Elimination Chamber was held in the same event.

- *Following Cena's successful title defense, Edge "cashed in" his Money in the Bank title shot he won at WrestleMania 21, and pinned Cena after 2 spears to win his first WWE Championship. Since this match ocurred right after Cena won the Elimination Chamber Match, Cena had no time ro rest. Cena put up little to no resistance in this match.
2007
The 2007 edition of WWE New Year's Revolution is set to take place on January 7, 2007 at the Savvis Center in St. Louis, MO.
