Next is a 2007 science fiction thriller film directed by Lee Tamahori. It stars Nicolas Cage as Cris Johnson and Julianne Moore as Callie Ferris in an adaptation of Philip K. Dick's 1954 science fiction short story "The Golden Man". It is currently being filmed, and is scheduled for release on September 28, 2007. Co-starring are Peter Falk and Thomas Kretschmann.

Plot summary

Cris Johnson is a man with the ability to see into the future. The FBI is seeking to use his abilities to prevent a global terrorist attack. As he attempts to evade capture by the FBI, he is forced to decide between saving himself or saving the world and the woman he knows will bear his child.
