nextBLAST is a
web site that integrates access to services from desktop and mobile devices. The service was launched in summer 2005 and it currently allows registered users to access
RSS or
Atom feeds, use
Feedster to search for feeds on the web, use
Flickr to send photos to mobile phones or create job search feeds delivered to their mobile devices via
Indeed.com. The functionality includes web-based news aggregator synchronized across desktop and mobile browsing, with a capability to send individual posts to a mobile phone using text messaging (
SMS), picture messaging (
MMS) or
WAP Push mobile network services. A user can store own mobile bookmarks or receive blog posts via SMS or MMS.
