Nicole Ohlde of the Minnesota Lynx
Nicole Ohlde (born on March 13, 1982 in Clay Center, Kansas) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA).
College years
In her standout collegiate career at Kansas State University, the two-time first team All American (2003, 2004) averaged 17.8 points per game. Ohlde majored in Social Science.WNBA Career
In the 2004 WNBA Draft, she was selected by the Minnesota Lynx in the first round (sixth overall).As rookie in 2004, Ohlde averaged 11.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game. Remarkably consistent, she averaged 11.2points, 5.7 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game in 2005.
