Nicole Watt was born in Melfort, Saskatchewan on April 28, 1985. She has been battling Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis, a serious and painful disease which affects her joints and can limit her mobility, and yet still placed 2nd in the Canadian Senior Women's Figure Skating Championship in 2002 and third in the senior ladies short program at The Canadian Figure Skating Championships in January, 2000. Nicole became the youngest spokeperson for the Arthritis Society.
