Nigel Newton is the chairman of Bloomsbury Publishing Plc who was instrumental in the publication of the J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series in 1997.[link] Aside from his oversight of the Harry Potter series in the UK since it's initial publication, Newton has more recently oversaw the expansion of Bloomsbury literary holdings in an effort to insure it's success post-Potter.[link]
