-->Niki Taylor (born March 5, 1975, in Pembroke Pines, Florida) is an American supermodel.
She has been a model since the age of 14.
Niki attended Cooper City High School.
She had twin sons Jake and Hunter in 1994.
Her family consists of Mom (Barbara), Dad (Ken) and sisters Joelle and Kristen (deceased model Krissy Taylor.
Her youngest sister Krissy Taylor, also a model, died of an asthma attack at age 17 in summer 1995. Niki had returned to the family home in Pembroke Pines, Florida, and found Krissy unconscious on the floor.
Her first magazine cover was an issue of Seventeen magazine. At 17, Niki graced the cover of Vogue. Many confused her as the youngest model in the cover, but in face Brooke Shields graced the cover at a younger age. On April 29, 2001, Taylor was critically injured in a car accident in East Point, Georgia. She suffered severe internal injuries. Taylor was a passenger in a car that lost control on a winding road. Taylor was wearing her seatbelt at the time and was not thrown from the vehicle. The car driver has said he looked down to answer a cell phone call and lost control of the car. Taylor was treated at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA.
Today, Niki and her twin sons live in Nashville, Tennessee. She runs a clothing store there called Abbie & Jessiie's and also founded the begin Foundation, which helps women with business ideas but limited resources.
