Nina & Mike McDonnell are a song-writing team. They are noted for authoring The Assassin, One More Time, Prodigal Son and The Last Burro, a song protesting the governmental extermination of wild Grand Canyon burros. The song was adopted by the Fund for Animals[link] as part of its successful opposition to this government program. They also wrote Arthur Jacobs, a story song about the appreciation of life's true value, that has been recorded by Banks & Shane and performed by its authors.
