Nina (Breath of Fire)

Nina (γγΌγ in Japanese) is one of the recurring characters in the Breath of Fire series, much like Ryu. She is a different character in every game, but she is always a magic user, with wings and blond hair, and often the princess of her people. She is often one of the earliest characters to join Ryu.
History
In the first four games, she is a Windian Princess. In the first game, aside from being the princess of Windia, she is also an officer in the army. She sets out with to stop the Dark Dragons along with her companions. In the second game she is a direct decendent of the Nina and Ryu from the first game. She has black wings, and because of that she was forced to leave Windia because it was considered as a bad omen for the royal family to bear a child with black wings. She also has a sister named Mina. In the third game, she is still a Windian princess, but runs away from her royal duty to join Ryu in his quest. In the fourth game she sets out initially to search for her sister Elina who disappeared during a good will tour who along the way meets and befriends Ryu. In the fifth game, she is a low class commoner who was operated on by a Genetics company into a human Air Filter.
