Nina Tower I

Nina Tower I is a 80 story highrise building under construction in Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong, China. Currently, the building is topped out, but other work, such as interior finishes have not yet been completed. The original version of this tower, [seen here], was called just Nina Tower and was supposed to be the tallest tower in the world at 518 m. or 1,699 ft. However, due to its location near the Chep Lap Kok Airport, the height was restricted down to the current 318.8 m.

Facts

The construction has resumed in September of 2002.
The first version of this tower was designed as the tallest building in the world, but its proximity to Chep Lap Kok Airport resulted in a restriction on its height.
The top 40 floors will house a 800-room 5-star hotel, while the 10th to 39th floor will contain office space.
