Nintendo's Castle (NC) was created August 8, 2005, it's goal was to create a large fansite dedicated to Nintendo gamers. Nintendo's Castle started off by using a free web host known as Freewebs. One day, Mike, one of the webmasters, asked the owner of [Nintendo X], if he could host NC. Nintendo X agreed to this, and NC began to grow rapidly.

Then, one day in February of 2006, Nintendo's Castle was hacked, and had been completely destroyed, nothing was left. Not only was Nintendo's Castle destroyed, but Nintendo X decided to shut down, so they would have to find another host. Eventually Mike asked the webmaster of [Rare Insider] if he could host them, the webmaster agreed, But he only gave them 20 days to get 20 pages of content up. Nintendo's Castle, sadly, did not follow this rule, and eventually closed down. Nintendo's Castle still lives on, but is nothing more than a memory.
