Niya

Niya (泥雅) is a site on the southern edge of the Tarim Basin, in modern-day Xinjiang, China at which numerous Buddhist scriptures were recovered. It was located on the southern branch of the Silk Road, north of modern Minfeng or New Niya.
Niya is also a city in upper Mesopotamia, in the late Bronze age kingdom of Hanigalbat.
