Mission

Nolan Catholic High School is the Catholic college preparatory school in the Diocese of Fort Worth administered in the Marianist Tradition. It serves the mission of the Church by educating and forming youth in the Roman Catholic Faith.

This is accomplished according to the characteristics of Marianist education:

School Profile

NCHS is a private Catholic school in Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas. It is the only Catholic College Prepatory school in Tarrant County. Nolan specializes in providing a faith filled education that prepares young adults for success in college and beyond.

Since its founding in 1961, Nolan Catholic High School, a private, co-educational, and college preparatory school serving grades 7-12 with approximately 1050 students per year, has served in the ministry of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Fort Worth under the administration of the Society of Mary (Marianists). NCHS is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the Texas Catholic Conference Education Department (as approved by the Texas Education Agency). Of the 97 professional faculty, 8 are vowed religious and 89 are lay faculty. 50% hold advanced degrees including 4 doctoral degrees. (Statistics as of 2005-2006 School Year)

The traditional college preparatory curriculum at Nolan Catholic requires 27 Carnegie units for graduation. Advanced Placement and Honors courses are offered in multiple disciplines. Nolan Catholic's Advance Placement classes include:
