Noord is a city in Aruba (a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands). It is part of the Noord/Tanki Leendert administrative unit of Aruba, which has a population of 16,944 as of 2000.

Noord is perhaps best known in the U.S. as the birthplace of Major League Baseball pitcher Sidney Ponson.

Noord (North) is a district (wijk) of North Rotterdam Netherlands also locally known as 'Oude Noorden' (Old North) Much pre world war 1 & 2 architecture still in existence.

It has vibrant though somewhat descreet artistic community amongst the most prominent is Konigin van de Maas and Willem de Kooning(April 24, 1904 – March 19, 1997)
