Norbert Haug

Norbert Haug (born 1952, in Germany) is the Vice President in charge of all Mercedes motorsport activity, including Formula One, Indycar and Touring Cars.

Haug was born in Germany and pursued a career in journalism before joining Mercedes in 1988.

Under his direction Mercedes have enjoyed considerable success in all categories, winning multiple races and championships. Haug was instrumental in the 1994 deal to supply engines to the McLaren Formula One team and is a regular visitor to the F1 Paddock.
