Norman Bay

Norman C. Bay (born October 10, 1960 in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois), is a former U.S. Attorney for the district of New Mexico. He was appointed by former U.S. President Bill Clinton in 2000 and resigned in 2002 when President George W. Bush came into office. He is the first Chinese American U.S. Attorney in history. Bay's biggest case was the investigation of Wen Ho Lee, a Taiwanese American accused of selling secrets of the U.S.'s nuclear arsenal to China.
In the spring of 2002, Bay joined the University of New Mexico School of Law faculty as assistant Professor. He has a J.D. from Harvard University.
