North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey

The North Dakota Fighting Sioux hockey teams (men's and women's) are the only Divsion I sports at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The Sioux men have won seven Frozen Four NCAA Division I championships. The current men's head coach is former Sioux player Dave Hakstol and the current women's head coach is Shantel Rivard.

The roots of the men's team go back to 1946. The Sioux men played in the "WIHL" until the WCHA was formed in 1951.Championships
