North Pier, Blackpool

North Pier is one of three piers in Blackpool in north-western England in the United Kingdom. It is 1,650 feet long. It includes a small shopping arcade, a small tramway and a theatre at the end. It was damaged by a 1997 Christmas windstorm.

History

Opened May 21, 1863. Designed by Eugenius Birch.
