North Yarmouth Academy is a college preparatory school, also known as "NYA". The school is located in Yarmouth, Maine and serves grades 6-12. During the summer NYA hosts summer camps for local children. It was established in 1814 as a boarding school for boys. NYA has been expanding from its original size and recently added a new science center.
North Yarmouth Academy is an independent, coeducational day school offering a structured program that sets clear standards and high expectations in an environment that emphasizes values of mutual respect, trust and community. North Yarmouth Academy is dedicated to fostering integrity, character and intellect in young adults.
The North Yarmouth Academy program encourages students to develop:
