The Northern Yan (Simplified Chinese: }}}; Traditional Chinese: ; pinyin: ; 407 or 409-436) was a state of Han Chinese during the era of Sixteen Kingdoms in China.
All rulers of the Northern Yan declared themselves "emperors".
