Northwest Arm

-->The Northwest Arm is an inlet measuring approximately 3.5 km in length and 0.5 km in width that runs along the west coast of peninsular Halifax from Purcells Cove to Armdale.
Forming part of Halifax Harbour, the shores of Northwest Arm (or the "Arm" as it is known to locals) are fronted by private homes. It is also the location of several parks, notably Point Pleasant Park at the southern entrance to the Arm, and the Sir Sandford Fleming Park on the western shore containing Halifax's landmark Dingle Tower.
