Nose grease
Encyclopedia : N : NO : NOS : Nose grease
Nose grease is grease removed from the surface of the human nose. The pores of the lateral creases of the exterior of the nose create and store more oil and grease than pores elsewhere on the human body, forming a readily available source of small quantities of grease.
Nose grease can be used as a light-duty lubricant (for example to stop door hinges from creaking), and was occasionally used as an optical antireflective coating before the development of vacuum deposited optical coatings.
