Novara is a city of Piedmont, in North-west Italy, to the west of Milan.
It is the capital city of the province of Novara.
History
Founded in ancient times by Romans, Novara was the site of two important battles, the Battle of Novara (in 1513) in the War of the League of Cambrai and the Battle of Novara (in 1849) in the Italian Wars of Independence.Main sights
