Numidians

The Numidians were tribes who lived in Algeria east of Constantine and in part of Tunisia. Their leader was Massinissa, who was raised in Carthage at the time when it was a Phoenician colony. Numidians played a key role in assisting Hannibal during the Second Punic War.
