Nyamati

Nyamati is located in Davangere District of the Karnataka state, India. It is approximately 65 km south of Davangere and 26 km north of Shimoga.

Description

This rural town served as a taluk headquarters during the reign of Wodeyars of Mysore. A commercial hub of Honnali taluk, Nyamati is famous in vegetable production. Raghavendraswamy Math at Honnali is an age old pilgrim center about 14 km away.

The nearest town is Savalanga, 9 km south-west. The nearest airport and railway are Hubli Airport and Shimoga Town Railway Station.
