In [[Onimusha: Dawn Of Dreams]], O-Hatsu is depicted as a musketeer in her twenties. As revealed in the game, O-Hatsu acquired her skills from Magoichi Saika of [[Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny]], the legendary gunner-mercenary of the Saiga Clan who fought against the nefarious Lord of the Genma Oda Nobunaga. She is in the league with Soki/Yuki Hideyasu, son of the future Shogunate Tokugawa Ieyasu; Yagyu Jubei Akane, Inheritor of Yagyu Shinkage Ryu; the priest Nankobo Tenkai, who was known in the past as Samanosuke Akechi, the legendary Onimusha and Roberto Frois, adopted-son of the benevolent missionary doctor, Luis Frois, together they fought against her sister and brother in-law: Lady Yodo and Toyotomi Hideyoshi, after learned that the latter was possessed by the Genma Being, by using them as a pawn in order to realized their twisted agenda. O-Hatsu is easily one of the most versatile characters in the game, as she is able to provide great offensive power due to her range, and a substantial defense when set to provide "Cover Fire" when controlled by the game's AI. O-Hatsu also sports a variety of muskets, but technologically advanced weapons such as lasers-spawning satellite also make their appearance during her 'Awakening Mode, resembling the ones of her deceased uncle: Oda Nobunaga, which was seen during his ultimate form in the duel against Samanosuke towards the end of the 3rd saga.
