OGLE-TR-122b is the smallest star (not a brown dwarf) in terms of volume yet discovered (2005). It was discovered with the Optical Gravitational Lensing Experiment survey (OGLE). It orbits another star nearer the center of the Milky Way, completing one orbit in 7.3 days.
