OS2000

OS2000 is a real-time operating system developed by Scientific & Research Institute of System Developments of the Russian Academy of Sciences for a MIPS (Baget-MIPS variant) and Intel BSPs (). Since version 2.0 (2002?) changed the name to "OS RV Baget 2.0".
OS RV is intended for software execution in a hard real-time embedded systems (firmware).
X Window System (client and server) was ported to OS RV. It also have the ethernet support (NFS, FTP, Telnet protocols), vfat and a tar file systems, FDD and HDD drivers support. Must notice here that a number of supported network cards is limited by some Realtek ISA and PCI cards.
Developing process is based on the following principles:
- international standarts compliance,
- mobility,
- scalability,
- microkernel,
- object-oriented programming
- cross-development.

- POSIX 1003.1, portable operating systems standart (program interface),
- C standart, language and libraries.
