The Oarsome Foursome are an Australian rowing crew who competed between 1990 and 1998 - winning two Olympic gold medals in the coxless fours.
The original crew was Nick Green, James Tomkins, Mike McKay, and Sam Patten. Patten was replaced by Andrew Cooper in 1991-92 and he by Drew Ginn from 1995.
They won:
- Olympic Gold: 1992, 1996
- World Championship Gold: 1990, 1991, 1998 (coxed four)
In 2004, they released a DVD titled Oarsome Foursome Fitness - a general fitness training guide not necessarily aimed at rowers (although there is a section on perfecting your rowing stroke).
