Oatlands Park

A royal residence 1538-1820, at Weybridge, Surrey.
The house was bought in 1538 from the Rede family. It was given to Queen Henrietta Maria in 1628 and remained in use until 1641. It was demolished in the 1642-1660 period.
Frederick Duke of York built Oatlands Park nearby. This was designed by Henry Holland), and was used 1791-1793 and by the duchess 1791-1820. It was later destroyed by fire.
