Observation Tower Blumenthal is a 45 metre tall observation tower built of wood in Blumenthal, Brandenburg, Germany. Observation Tower Blumenthal was inaugaurated on September 18th, 2004 and is the tallest observation tower in Germany built of wood. However it is not the tallest construction, built of wood in Germany, because the towers of the aerial test facility Brück, the Radio Tower Rottenbuch, which are both not accessible for tourists and the Jahrtausendturm are taller. The Observation Tower Blumenthal has an observation deck in a height of 36.4 metres, which is accessible by 187 stairs. The whole construction weighs 210 tons.
