Odie Cleghorn

James Ogilvie "Odie" Cleghorn (Born - September 19 1891 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada - Died - July 13 1956 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada) was a Canadian professional ice hockey Right Winger, linesman and referee who played 10 seasons in the National Hockey League for the Montreal Canadiens and Pittsburgh Pirates. He won a Stanley Cup in 1924 with Montreal.
Playing career
Odie Cleghorn's brother Sprague Cleghorn died of injuries following a car accident. Just a few hours before Sprague's 14 July 1956 funeral, Odie Cleghorn, was found in his bed, dead of heart failure, perhaps induced by the stress of the loss of his brother.External link
