Odina Desrochers

Odina Desrochers (born May 25, 1951 in Joly, Quebec) is a Canadian politician. He's is a current member of the Bloc Québécois in the Canadian House of Commons. He was first elected to the house in the Canadian federal election, 1997 from the riding of Lotbinière. He was re-elected in the Canadian federal election, 2000 from the riding of Lotbinière—L'Érable and again in the Canadian federal election, 2004 from the riding of Lotbinière—Chutes-de-la-Chaudière. He was formerly the Bloc's critic to Latin America and Africa, and has also been the critic of Regional Development, Rural Development, Public Accounts, the Treasury Board, and Infrastructure in the past.
Before his appointment to the House of Commons he worked as a journalist.
