Oeno Island

Oeno Island or Holiday Island is an uninhabited island on Oena atoll in the South Pacific Ocean, part of the Pitcairn Islands colony. Oeno Island acts as a private holiday site for the few residents of Pitcairn Island, who will travel there and stay for a couple of days. There is a water tap installed on the island. Oeno atoll has 5 islets, and is a squarish shape, about 5 km wide (2 miles) and is located at . The main island (Oeno) has forest and scrub with pandanus and palm trees. It is on the SW of the atoll and is 0.7 sq km (170 acres). The maximum elevation is less than 5m (16 ft). The smaller Sandy Island is on north of the atoll.
