The Oh Family is the famous cartoon series aired in Singapore. (Original name: The Oh Family's Amazing Adventures) This long running cartoon feature "living timsums aka Chinese dumplings" potraying humans and their funny, weird and crazy encounters in life. Almost all their relatives and ancestors are related to food.
The whole story is based on a mini-comic by an anonymous comic artist.
Characters
- Oh Har Kao (the youngest son of the family)
- Oh Small Bun (the elder brother of Har Kao)
- Oh Crystal Dumpling (the uncaring, black hearted and selfish mother of the two boys)
- Oh Pork Bun (the timid and introvert husband of Crystal Dumpling)
- Oh Siew Mai (wife of Oh Har Kao)
Well Known Episodes
In this episode, Mrs Crystal Dumpling cooks horrible food for the family, such as a whole bowl of soya sauce, a pile of onions and burnt vegetables. Surprisingly, all except Miss Siew Mai liked the terrible cooking
This episode features two rare characters: Mrs Kueh Lapis and Mdm Ang Gu Kueh. The two relatives of the Ohs came to visit during Chinese New Year and an embarrassing incident in which Har Kao stole the tidbits meant for the guests and forced Mrs Crystal Dumpling to cook for the visitors soya sauce. This has also caused Mrs Kueh Lapis to spit the sauce all over Mrs Crystal Dumpling.

Biggest show ever, this first ever movie that features the Oh Family when evil mastermind, Mr French Fry, wants to eliminate all the timsums on Earth and that leaves the Oh Family to save the day.
Other Info
Timsums are famous Hong Kong delicacies in which dumplings or Chinese buns are cooked and served in small bamboo baskets.
