Ohara District, Shimane

Ōhara (大原郡; -gun) was a district located in Shimane, Japan.
As of 2003, the district had an estimated population of 30,838 and a density of 124.74 persons per km². The total area was 247.21 km².
Towns and villages
Merger
- On November 12004, the towns of Daito, Kamo and Kisuki from Ohara District and the towns and villages of Kakeya, Mitoya and Yoshida from Iishi District merged to form the new city of Unnan. Ohara District was dissolved as a result.
