Oil and Gas Development Company

Oil and Gas Development Company (OGDC) is a state corporation of Pakistan. It was created to prospect for oil and gas in Pakistan.
On May 4th, 2006 Pakistan has appointed a Citigroup-led consortium to sell up to 15 pct of the country's largest oil and gas company, Oil and Gas Development Company, to foreign investors. The consortium will advise the state-run Privatisation Commission on the sale of 10-15 pct, or 430 to 645 mln shares, of the OGDC.
